I enjoyed a stay at the Queens Arms, where the lively pub atmosphere welcomed me right away. The location is fantastic, adjacent to a stunning park ideal for dog walks and just minutes from lovely hiking trails. The staff were engaging, and they catered to my specific dietary needs with great thoroughness. A fantastic breakfast selection made my mornings delightful. The room was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed, perfect for resting after a long day of exploring. I faced some challenges with the steep stairs to the rooms, which might be a concern with mobility issues. I also encountered a slight hiccup with on-street parking during a busy time, which could be better communicated to future guests. Despite these inconveniences, the overall experience was enjoyable.

Comfy stay with great vibes
Spent 3 nights as a solo traveler and absolutely loved the spacious room with a super comfy bed. The breakfast was a highlight – fresh and hot! Nice bar area to hang out in, but those steep stairs can be a bit tricky after a long day. a solid spot for a chill getaway.

The steep staircases can be quite challenging, especially for anyone with mobility issues, making access to the upstairs rooms a bit taxing. Noise from live music on Saturday can be quite overwhelming, and the busy pub atmosphere during late hours might disturb your rest. the breakfast service starts a bit late which is inconvenient for early risers, and there were some complaints about inconsistent meal preparation from the kitchen.
